NOKE-KOÎ KAMANAWA · September 2026 · Timbaúba Village, Rio Gregório, Acre

The forest is still speaking.
September is the time to cross over and listen.

Seven days in Timbaúba Village, on the Rio Gregório, with the NOKE KOÎ people.
Amazon, Acre, Brazil.

This is not a trip. It is a crossing.

The call

For those who feel something is missing

There is a stillness the city cannot give back.
A fire you have never sat around.
A river that has never watched you arrive.

You are not looking for a destination.
You are looking for a return, to something you have always known and almost forgotten.

This page will not try to convince you.
If this call is yours, something here has already recognized it.

The immersion

This is not an itinerary. It is the life of a living village, opened for seven days.

Forest canopy in the blue and golden mist of dawn
The forest teaches first through silence

Nothing here is an activity.
Everything here is presence.

We do not promise healing. We do not promise transformation.
We promise truth, care and permission.

Those who have crossed

Those who have already crossed this path speak better than any promise.

The place

Timbaúba Village · Rio Gregório · NOKE KOÎ People

Here, the forest is not scenery. It is the home of a living people who continue singing what their ancestors have always sung.

Two doors

There are two ways to experience this crossing.

You choose together with Patrícia in a personal conversation.

Door one

NOKE-KOÎ KAMANAWA · The Immersion

The complete journey: seven days in Timbaúba Village, on the Rio Gregório, with the NOKE KOÎ people. Preparation before the journey, the immersion in the village, and integration after your return.

Door two

NOKE-KOÎ KAMANAWA · The Immersion with Sacred Song Studies

Everything included in the Immersion, plus a dedicated daily space to study the sacred songs alongside Paka Kamanawa.

Study of the song lyrics. An introduction to the sounds and language of the NOKE KOÎ people. Learning materials, translations and guided support. Practice, listening and repetition.

A necessary note: this is a study experience, not a certification or professional training. It does not grant a title, authority, or the right to teach, transmit or lead these songs afterwards. It is a respectful introduction to the sound, language and tradition of the NOKE KOÎ people, and depends on the availability of Paka Kamanawa and the rhythm of village life. All details are confirmed during your personal conversation.

Care and protocol

No one makes this crossing alone, and no one crosses without preparation.

Before departure

Before departure, you receive guided preparation through reflections shared over the weeks leading up to the journey, as well as a live online group gathering before traveling.

In the village

In the village, you are accompanied every step of the way, following the rhythm of the NOKE KOÎ people.

After returning

Around six weeks after returning home, the group meets again for an integration session, because what is experienced in the forest continues long after you leave it.

Care is not a detail. It is the foundation of everything.

What changes

No one returns the same. But no one can tell you what you will find.

Some return quieter. Others return feeling more whole.
Some only understand weeks later, when life in the city begins again, and something inside them no longer begins in the same way.

We do not sell the “after.”
We can only guarantee the truth of the present: the forest, the songs, the care, the presence.

Whatever this awakens in you belongs to you.

In the voice of those who lived it

Before making your decision, listen to one more voice from someone who has already walked this path.

Your bridge

Patrícia, Your Bridge Before the Crossing

Before taking any step, you first speak with Patrícia.

She welcomes you, guides you, and walks beside you from your very first question.
She speaks Portuguese, English and German, and she listens before she answers.

This conversation is not about selling. It is about understanding: whether this is truly your time, which path is right for you, and how to care for you from the very beginning.

Many people first encounter the sacred songs, the language, the listening, the sound of the NOKE KOÎ people, and only later feel the call to experience the village in person.

If the songs brought you here, this is the next crossing: from hearing them from afar to living them up close.
From study to presence. From listening to standing on the land itself.

Questions

Questions Worth Answering

Is this my first time in the Amazon? Can I join?

Yes. Many people come for the very first time. That is why there is preparation, and why Patrícia accompanies you from the beginning, so you arrive supported, not overwhelmed.

Do I need previous experience with traditional medicines?

No. Previous experience does not make you more or less worthy of this journey. We ask only so we can care for you in the best possible way, never to judge you.

What is the investment?

Investment details and current availability are shared during a personal conversation. We prefer to understand where you are before speaking about financial details.

How many participants are there?

The group is intentionally small. Places are limited by the realities of the forest and village logistics, and participation is confirmed after a personal conversation.

Is this tourism?

No. This is a respectful cultural immersion with a living Indigenous people, carried out with protocol, permission and mutual respect. The forest is not a backdrop. The village is not an attraction.

The first step

If you’ve read this far, perhaps this call is yours.
